Franklin family photograph

FRANKLIN, COONEY

I've "rescued" an old photograph of Agnes FRANKLIN which was taken at the
Hale Studio in Elkader, Iowa. The photograph was likely taken in the 1880's
and notes that Agnes is 18 years old at the time. In addition to her name,
someone has written "Stalnaker School, Clayton Co. IA" and the name "Mary
COONEY" on the back of the photograph as well. I'm assuming that the
photograph was a gift to Mary.

Based on limited research I was able to locate the following in census
records:

1880 census of Waterloo, IA:

Charles FRANKLIN, age 51, a Cooper, born NY
Mary FRANKLIN, wife, age 46, Housekeeping, born OH, parents born NY/MA
Elnora FRANKLIN, dau, age 20, at Home, born IA
Aggie FRANKLIN, dau, age 9, Attends School, born IA

I'm hoping to locate someone from this FRANKLIN Family so that the
photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this
family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
