Matthias Jennings (born Ontario Canada 1816) came to Clayton County, McGregor and raised a family with his Keg and barrel making business. He then turned to medicine and became a doctor in the county with a prosperous practice. He had three wives, Mary Dill, Jarusha, and Addie, all born in Canada. His children numbered about 8-10, Alice being one of the youngest. Lawrence Jennings his oldest son was a well known pioneer in McGregor until his death in 1929. Any information regarding Dr. Jennings and his practice is appreciated. M.S.
