My great grandfather was Dr. A J Faber. His son, Luke A. Faber MD was a general practitioner who eventually moved to Dubuque, IA. Married Barbara Palen, daughter of Charles Palen MD. Had two sons, Luke C. Faber MD and Denis Faber MD. Denis had two sons and a daughter. Luke had one son and three daughters. I am Luke A Faber, only son and second oldest from Luke C. Faber's family. I am a cardiothoracic surgeon in California. I have one son, also Luke and two daughters, Audrey and Abby.
