You can possibly obtain a copy of the local newspaper covering the area of her death and it will have an article on the accident..In researching my family I ordered from my local library, a microfilm of the Gutenberg, IA newspaper from December of 1872..I found the article of my 3-great grandfathers death in a train accident in Gutenberg. This takes time and effort but it worked for me.
