naturalization records

NIENAU, FRAUNEBIEGGER

My ancestor Herman Anton Nienau came to Gutenburg in about 1852(western settlement society) and lived on 200 acres outside of Garber.
Part of his acreage was government grant land. I am looking for where he became a naturalized citizen.
He died in a railway accident on Dec. 2, 1872 at the train station in Gutenburg.(per news article of that time)
