After remaining in an unconscious condition for nearly a week, and following an operation upon her skull at Rochester, Minnesota, Mrs. Frank J. Hanson, whose accident was noted in these columns last week, passed away early Wednesday morning at Rochester, and the remains were brought to Decorah Thursday afternoon, the funeral services being held from the Catholic Church Friday morning, Rev. Fr. Mullen officiating, with interment in the Catholic cemetery.
Louisa Steyer, daughter of Michael and Cecelia (Lamm) Steyer, was born in Decorah , May 28, 1876, growing up to womanhood here, and October 20, 1906 was united in marriage to Frank J. Hanson, to which union two sons were born, Edward Charlie, who lived only four weeks, and Adolph Francis, who, with the husband, survives her. She is also survived by her mother, two brothers and two sisters.
