Funeral services for Mrs. Theodore Falck, 75, were held at Emanuel Lutheran church in Strawberry Point on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 11, with the Rev. Paul G. Bauer conducting the services. Burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
Emma Marie Weger was born in the St. Sebald community north of Strawberry Point on Feb. 05, 1882, the daughter of Michael and Caroline Griesinger Weger. She was a member of the Lutheran church and received a rural school education. On Feb. 18, 1909, she was married to Theo. Falck at St. Sebald Lutheran church. The couple farmed between Strawberry Point and Lamont until they retired and moved to Strawberry Point several years ago.
Mrs. Falck was taken to the Memorial hospital at Manchester two weeks ago and died there Monday morning, Dec. 09, at 7:00 a.m., a victim of cancer.
She is survived by her husband of Strawberry Point; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Betty) Graham of Lamont; a grandson, James Howard Graham of Lamont, and three sisters, Mrs. Lewis Neumann and Mrs. Martin Baumgartner of Strawberry Point and Mrs. Gusta Griese of Rock Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.
