Mrs. Laura L. Nute died at St. Luke's hospital at 5 o'clock this morning following a lingering illness of six month's duration.
She was born in Coldberg, Ia. [sic] July 18, 1861, and on Sept. 26, 1881, was married to Edward C. Nute, after which the couple removed to Des Moines, where they lived until two years ago. They have since resided in Davenport.
Surviving are the husband, four sons, Alfish of Dubuque, Charles of Rock Island, and Harrison and Cyrus of Davenport; and two daughters, Mrs. Ann J. Kearns and Mrs. Hazel Houterschell, both of Kansas City, Mo.
The body was removed to the Stapleton funeral parlors pending completion of funeral arrangements.

The Nute Funeral
