HULBERT, HURLBERT, GRINNELL

DIED - at the residence of John Grinnell, near Clayton City, on Monday, Nov. 19th, after an illness of over 3 years, Hiram Hurlbut, aged 62. Funeral services by Rev. Mr. Ricker.

The deceased was born in Schenectady, N.Y. He was the father of Mrs. Grinnell at whose house the deceased and his aged and now widowed companion have been kindly cared for during the closing years of their lives. May blessings crown those who care for the aged.

Note: His gravestone in the Clayton cemetery spells his surname as HULBERT. Mrs. Grinnell was Caroline nee Hulbert
