Clayton County Register, 26 Nov. 1942.

Monona: Mrs. William H. Frohwein suffered a stroke on Tuesday and died Thursday night. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at two o'clock from the Pilgrim Evangelical church, with the Rev. Harvey W. Radaege officiating and burial was made in the city cemetery.

Surviving Mrs. Frohwein are her widower, William H. Frohwein, one daughter, Jessie, Mrs. Robert A. Ferguson and one grandson, Lyman Ferguson.

She was 77 years of age and several years ago Mr. and Mrs. Frohwein were privileged to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.
