Mrs. Jennie Thorvig, a widow lady aged 28 years, died in Wagner township on Sunday last. Her funeral took place on Wednesday at the church in Wagner.

~Elkader Register, November 5, 1891

Note: She was the wife of Amund Thorvig and daughter of Ole E. & Helga Glesne. She's buried in the Norway cemetery with her husband and 2 children, Martha H. & Solan.
