Miles Coonfare died at his home in Volga township on May 08th after an illness of four months at the age of 55 years, five months and 14 days.
The deceased was a son of William and Elizabeth Coonfare and born at Strawberry Point, November 24, 1884. He received his education in rural schools of this county and then engaged in farming. The farm where he died has been his home since 1928. His father preceded him in death but he is survived by his mother.
Services were held last Friday afternoon at the Witt Funeral chapel and burial was made in the Garnavillo cemetery, the Rev. P. Kitterer of this place officiating.
Casketbearers were: Henry Reimer, Wm. McLane, Arnold Kruse, Tom Garaghty, Orville Reimer and E. V. Smock.
