OSTERDOCK: Frank D. Moser son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moser was born on April 07, 1890 and died Thursday morning at 8:30 at the age of 50 years, 18 days.
He was taken sick on December 09, 1939. Everything that medical aid and loving hands could do for him was done but all was in vain.
Most of his life was spent in this community and near Osterdock.
On July 31, 1912 he was united in marriage to Maggie Noack to this union 12 children were born, namely: Mrs. Alvina Sprague of Greeley; Mrs. Ruth Dahlstrom and Mrs. Arlene Fischer, Clark, Ila, Ivan, Harvey, Ivanell, Marjorie, Loren and Velma all at home.
The funeral was held at Bethel with a large attendance, the pallbearers were Walter Meyer, Clarence Meyer, Ervin Walters, Martin Walters, Earnie Walter and Francis Moser.
He leaves to mourn, his wife, Maggie and children, also his mother, Mrs. Caroline Moser; four brothers, Andrew, Charles, Leonard of Osterdock and Clem of Elkport; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Tomkins, Mrs. Blanche Borret and Mrs. Gladys Kottke.
Rev. Brink of Dubuque pastor of the Methodist church at Guttenberg officiated. The flower bearers were Selma and Delors Moser, Florence and Magaret Moser, Ione Meyer and Irene Kregel, all neices.
