Clayton County Register, 15 Mar. 1939.

GUTTENBERG: Fred L. Mueller died at his home a little past noon on Sunday. He had been ailing for several weeks but his death was a shock to relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Mueller have been residents of Jefferson township and Guttenberg all their lifetime.

A widow, one daughter, Mrs. Henry Torrey; two sons, Glen and Arnold, and one sister, Mrs. Henry Geuder, mourn his death.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, and burial was made in the Guttenberg cemetery.
