Clayton County Register, 28 Dec. 1938.
MONONA: Funeral services for Edmund Levenhagen, aged 26, were held at 1:15 Thursday afternoon, from the home, and at two o'clock from the Lutheran church, with burial in the city cemetery. The pastor, Rev. H. W. Siefkes, officiated.
He was born April 20, 1912, and was the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph F. Levenhagen. He was married June 01, 1937, to Miss Ruth Robinson of Postville, who, besides the parents, an infant son, three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Peters, Mrs. Grace Topel and Miss Gretchen Levenhagen, and one brother, Lawrence Levenhagen, survive him.
The sympathy of the entire community is extended the survivors by the entire community.
