Fred Bruckner died at five o'clock, Monday morning, at the Finley hospital in Dubuque.

Mr. Bruckner came to Guttenberg from McGregor in June, 1931, and has been in business since then. He had been troubled with a sore hand since November, and a week ago Monday he was rushed to the hospital.

In April, 1913, he was married to Miss Lillian Schultz. His wife, two daughters, Agnes and Dorothy, of this place, and two sons, Ervin of Guttenberg and Bert of McGregor, mourn his death. One sister, Emma, of Milwaukee; and five brothers, Frank of Prairie du Chien Ed of San Francisco; Albert and John of Malta, Mont., and Joe Bruckner; one grandson, and many other relatives survive.

The funeral was held in Guttenberg, Wednesday afternoon at 1:00, from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rau. The Rev. G. L. Parson of McGregor officiated at the church and the cemetery. Burial was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

The out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wright of Milwaukee; Mrs. Lillian Bruckner of Marquette; John Bruckner of Malta, Mont.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bruckner and family, of Prairie du Chien; Mrs. Muriel Bruckner and son Paul, of Prairie du Chien; Mrs. Anna Bruckner and family, of Lynxville, and Mr. and Mrs. George Bruckner and baby, of Lynxville; and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Siegle and children; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Art Bovee and daughter Joyce, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bruckner, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schultz and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultz and family of McGregor.
