Gustave Oleson, 61, lifelong resident of this community, died at his home in McGregor Saturday, following an illness of several months' duration. Funeral services were held at the Pilkington funeral parlor, Rev. H. F. Glock, pastor of the Lutheran church, officiating. Burial was made in the Swede Ridge cemetery. His wife died in 1913, and a son William in 1920. He is survived by a son Arthur of Garnavillo, and a daughter Katherine of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Caroline Hultgren of McGregor.
