On Wednesday, February 21, 1912, at the home of her daughter in this city, Mrs. Wm. Redeman, occurred the death of Mrs. Johanna Redeman, Jr., at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 21 days. Her maiden name was Woebbeking. Deceased was born in Osterwald, Germany, on September 30, 1832, and was married to Wm. Redeman, who preceded her in death 6 years ago. She came to Guttenberg in 1856 and lived here until her death. She was the mother of four children, of which two preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her death two daughters, namely: Mrs. Wm. Redeman, Jr., of Guttenberg, with whom she has been making her home of late and always received the best of care until her death, and Mrs. Fred Sieling, of McKracken, Kansas, also fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. The funeral was held at the Lutheran church in this city Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and interment in the city cemetery, Rev. Janzig officiating.
