On Tuesday evening at 6:15 o'clock, at the home of her uncle and aunt, M. Gilbertz and wife, in this city, occurred the death of Miss Lena Webber, after a few days' illness with scarlet fever. She was born in Germany and came to America with her brothers and sisters about two years ago and made her home with the M. Gilbertz family, where she has always received the best of care. She was 13 years of age at the time of her death, and was loved by all who knew her. Her untimely death is mourned by 5 sisters, 2 brothers and a large circle of relatives and friends, by whom she will be sadly missed. The remains were laid to rest Wednesday morning at the Catholic cemetery in this city. The Gilbertz family is quarantined to prevent spread of the disease and no other cases are reported about town.
