Elkader Register, Thur., 11 Jan. 1912. Volga column.

Edward Dureen died at the home of his brother Lawrence Saturday, Jan. 6th, 1912, after a long illness with many months suffering. Funeral was held at Sacred Heart Church, Monday morning, Rev. Father Hetherington, officiating. Burial in Sacred Cemetery.
