Elkader Register, Thur., 26 May 1892. Elkport column.

Andreas Ritter, aged 80 years, died last Wednesday of old age. Mr. Ritter has been a resident of Clayton county for the past 40 years, and was always known as an honest, upright man. The funeral took place Friday, and was largely attended. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction. Rev. Fuchs officiated.
