Elkader Register, Thur., 07 Apr. 1892.

DIED- On Sunday, April 03rd, 1892, occurred the death of Emil, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Wilke, of Read, after a lingering sickness of several months, at the age of 4 years, 9 months and 15 days. The funeral took place on Tuesday, his remains being laid to their final rest in the cemetery at that place. Services were held by Rev. F. W. Seifert, and were attended by a large number of friends. Deceased was a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Wilke of this place.
