Mrs. Marion Duff died Thursday, Feb. 25th, at the home of her son, William Duff, in Highland. She was eighty-five years of age, and died suddenly. There are left to mourn her loss, four sons and two daughters, Robert, William, George and John Duff, and Mrs. Jas. Dempster and Mrs. Fred Smith, also a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral discourse was preached by Rev. Todd of West Union, a former resident of Highland, and an old friend of the deceased. The funeral took place Sunday, and interment was made in the Volga cemetery.
