Elkader Register, Thur., 25 Feb. 1892.

DIED- Wednesday evening, February 17th, 1892, Rosine Augusta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Katschkowsky, of Boardman township. She was born Oct. 14th, 1882, and was in her tenth year at the time of her death. She was taken sick on Sunday, and in spite of medical aid was taken away. Indeed the light of the home is gone, but let us hope the beloved parents may be consoled with the thought that she has gone to Him who doeth all things well and for the best. The sympathy of our people goes out to the bereaved ones. The funeral took place on Friday last and was largely attended, Rev. Dickhoff of Garnavillo, officiating.
