Louis Muenkel, aged 40 years, _ (looks like either 3 or 8) months, died at his residence, January 3rd, of consumption. He was married to Mathilda Reinhardt on the 22nd day of February, 187_ (looks like a 0 or 9). His wife and a seven year old daughter survive him. Mr. Muenkel was known as a very industrious man, of a quiet disposition, and was well liked by all who knew him. He was a member of Guttenberg Lodge, No. 120, I.O.O.F., under whose auspices his remains were taken to the public cemetery for interment on Wednesday afternoon.
