James M'Crae died at the home of his parents in Volga, Tuesday morning June 4th, 1889. He had been in poor health for several years and it was known he could not live long, but his death was quite sudden as he had kept about and had worked what he could; his last illness was of two or three days duration. The funeral will be held Thursday at the U.P. church. His sister Mrs. S. Chilson, residing at Marathon, Iowa, has been telegraphed for. He leaves father, mother, two brothers and one sister to mourn for him. The sorrowing family have the sympathy of their friends in this affliction.
