Elkader Register, Thur., 04 Apr. 1889. Osterdock column.

DIED- At the home of her parents, Mrs. Sarah Matilda Rice, March 28th, 1889. The deceased was born in Iowa, Sept. 30th, 1850, which would make her 39 years, 6 months and 12 days old at the time of her death. Her illness was of a long duration. She leaves three sons to mourn her loss. The children and relatives will have heartfelt sympathy of our entire community in their sad affliction.
