Elkader Register, Thur., 18 Oct. 1888.

DIED- Henry Nolte, of Guttenberg, who shot himself on Monday, October 8th, died on Monday evening the 15th, after suffering greatly for a week. Deceased leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death. He was a member of the Iowa A.O.U.W., and V.A.S., thus leaving his widow a fund with which to care for herself and children.
