Elkader Register, Thur., 09 Aug. 1888. Elkport and Vicinity column.

Ettie Schecker, as she is known here, died in Chicago, and was buried here on Sunday. She was married and living in Chicago at the time of her death. We did not learn her Husband's name. A very large number of friends paid her the last token of respect by their attendance at the funeral. She was buried in the Hall cemetery.
