Elkader Register, Thur., 02 Feb. 1888.

From the Strawberry Press we learn of the death of Martha Y. Noble, of Lodomillo township, at the advanced age of 85 years. She came to Clayton County in 1846, when Iowa was yet in its infancy ad resided here continuously to the time of her death.

Note: burial is in the Edgewood cemetery
