Elkader Register, Thur., 13 Oct. 1887.

DIED- At the residence of Charles Ehrhardt, this township, on Wednesday morning, Oct. 12th, 1887, occurred the death of William Brockman, of inflammation of the bowels. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris. Brockman, residing near National, and was 27 years of age. He leaves two brothers and three sisters, with his aged parents to mourn him. The funeral takes place at Clayton Center, to-day.
