Elkader Register, Thur., 11 Aug. 1887.

Jacob Armbruster, of Littleport, died on Tuesday, August 09th, 1887, after a long sickness. Deceased has been a resident of Clayton County for a number of years, and had a large number of acquaintances, all of whom will regret to learn of his demise. He was about 48 years of age and leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death. The funeral will take place to-day, under the auspices of Bismark lodge, A.O.U.W., of which he was a member. Rev. F. W. Siefert will officiate.
