Schoch, Maria Amelia 1856 - 1887

Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Apr. 1887.

At the family residence in Elkader, on Sunday, April 24th, 1887, occurred the death of Maria Amelia Schoch; aged 30 years, 7 months and 2 days.

Deceased was a native of Clayton County, and was born at Clayton Center, September 25nd, 1856. Here she was married on December 31st, 1878, to Henry Schoch, of Elkader, and since that time has resided in our midst, honored and respected by all who knew her.

She leaves a husband, and three children, two daughters and an infant son to mourn the loss of a faithful loving wife and mother, besides several brothers and sisters. The sympathy of our entire community is with Mr. Schoch and his family in their sad bereavement.
