Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Oct. 1886.

DIED- On Saturday evening last, occurred the death of Eddie, the seven years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Davis, of this place. Eddie had been sick for a long time, and death was a relief to his suffering. The afflicted parents have the sympathy of all in their great sorrow. The funeral occurred on Monday afternoon, his remains being laid away in the East Side cemetery. Rev. I. C. Lusk preached the funeral sermon.
