Clayton County Journal, 01 Sept. 1886.

DIED- On Friday, Aug. 27th, 1886, Minnie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Kruse, aged about two years. The death of little Minnie was sudden and a sad blow to her parents. She appeared to be in good health Friday morning, eating breakfast with the family as usual. About nine o'clock she was attacked with convulsions, caused, the doctor thinks, by teething, from which she never rallied, one convulsion after another until 5:30 o'clock p.m., when she died. She was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Kruse and they will receive a full measure of sympathy of all their friends and acquaintances in their bereavement. The funeral was held Saturday, at 2 o'clock p.m.
