Michael Kilfoil died at Elkader, Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m., of a complication of diseases, after an illness of over ten years.

He was born on April 03, 1872, in Read township, the son of Thomas Kilfoil and Katherine Moore. In 1900 he was married to Anna Wareham, to which union no children were born. His wife preceded him in death.

For the past six years the deceased made his home in Elkader with his brother, Thomas, the only one of his five brothers alive. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Church of Elkader.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning from the St. Joseph's church, the Rev. Father Taken officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
