Mrs. Cox passed away at the family residence Friday afternoon where she had been confined to her bed after an extended illness.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the residence. Rev. Schepple officiated. Interment was in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Richard Cox passed away last Friday, following a long illness. She was 78 years old.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the residence at 2:00 o'clock, the Rev. F.H. Schepple officiating.
She was born in Decatur, Green Co. Wis., on April 4, 1852, the daughter of Dennis and Catherine Ellenbolt, and was united n marriage to Mr. Richard Cox at Avon, Wis., in 1868. They made McGegor their home in 1871. Mr. Cox preceded her in death June 23, 1923.
There were four children born to them, two passing away in infancy, and two residing in McGregor, Mrs. Cora Bergman and George A. Cox - also two grandchildren, Miss Charlotte Cox, of Milwaukee, Wis. and George R. Bergman of Detroit, Mich.
