The many friends of Francis Nicol in Fremont county, will regret to hear of his death, which occurred recently in Rochester, Minnesota.
Mr. Nicol was born in Berrien county, Michigan in 1857. When a child he went to live in Clayton county Iowa, where he lived for twenty-five years. He was married in 1881 and in 1891 removed with his family to Fremont county, Wyoming. In 1894 he settled in Dubois, Wyoming.
He carried mail between Dubois and Fort Washakie from 1894 to 1898. In 1919 he left Wyoming and bought a farm near Rochester, Minnesota, where he resided until his death.
Mr. Nicol was a kind and generous husband and father and his friends were many.
