The death of William J. Blanchard occurred at his home last Friday afternoon after a lingering illness. Funeral services occurred at the home Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. T. J. Elwick, pastor of the M.E. church. The active pall bearers were: F. H. Hamlett, J. W. Hesner, Albert Kash, L. W. Preston, J. H. Huebsch and Wm. Reiniets, and honorary pall bearers were: J. R. Alderson, Wm. J. Byrnes, Dr. H. M. Eaton, E. H. Fitzgibbons, L. Glass and R. C. Norris. Both the active and honorary pall bearers were directors of the Union Bank and Trust company. Interment was made in our beautiful cemetery.
