Sunday morning at about 4 o'clock occurred the death of one of our old settlers, John A. Hansel. Mr. Hansel was one of our most respected citizens and his death is quite a loss to our community. He leaves to mourn his loss, his aged wife and two sons, Wm. and Lyman, and three daughters, Mrs. L. A. Oldham, Mrs. J. A, Swisher and Ellen Hansel. The funeral was conducted at the home of the deceased Monday afternoon and remains brought to Bethel cemetery. Rev. F. A. Riggs officiated.
