The death of Park James Everetts [sic], son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Everetts, passed away at his home last Friday at the age of 23 years, 1 month and 22 days. He was born in Delaware County, March 14, 1897. Since he was twelve years of age he suffered frequently from attacks of rheumatism. About a year ago he went to Montana to visit his sister and hoping a change of climate would benefit his health. He returned home in about four months without finding any relief and since has suffered terribly at times until death relieved him of his sufferings last Friday. Besides his parents he leaves six sisters, and two brothers: Mrs. Glen Letchford, of Ossian, Mrs. Geo. McFarlane, of Vida, Montana, Mrs. Arthur Topple, of Postville, Blanche, Bernice and Wilma; Percil and Francis at home. Funeral services occurred at the home Sunday conducted by the M.E. pastor, Rev. W. H. Smith after which the remains were laid to rest in the County Corners cemetery.
