Schuetz, Julia (Bolte) 1857 - 1915

Julia Bolte was born on May 8th, 1857, in Scharpenlobe, Prov. Saxony, and confirmed on April 2nd, 1871. Her girlhood days were spent in Germany, where in 1880 she was united in marriage to Ferdinand Schuetz, who had already lived five years in America, to which place they emigrated on June 6th, 1880.

To them eleven children, eight sons and three daughters, were born, of whom all but the oldest son are still living. Besides the children and husband, she leaves many other relatives and friends who will miss a kind and affectionate friend and neighbor. The funeral services were held last Friday, Rev. Athenstaedt, of Clayton Center, officiating, and interment was made in the Clayton Center cemetery.
