Mrs. Kellogg died at the home of her son William the early part of the week, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Kellogg was an old resident of this place and widely known. The funeral took place at Strawberry Point on Wednesday.

Mrs. Mary J. Kellogg died March 21st at her home near here, aged 74 years. Her funeral was held at the Pleasant Grove church, the M.E. minister, of Edgewood, delivering the funeral sermon. Her pall bearers were her six grandsons, Ernie, Ralph, Francis and Milton Kellogg and Miles and Elmer Scott. She leaves three sons, Albert, William and Alfred to mourn her loss, her only daughter having died 18 years ago and her husband about two years ago.
