Guttenberg, April 27, 1885:

The news of the death of Andrew Eberhard is already spread through the county, but the full causes of his death are still a mystey. The body of the deceased arrived here on Friday last, and was buried on the afternoon of the same day, at 2 o'clock. The large concourse of friends that assembled, not only from our own city, but from all parts of the county, to follow his remains to the grave is testimony of the respect in which he was held. The funeral would have been larger had there been a certainty as to what time it would be held.

The agricultural implement business formerly carried on by Mr. Eberhard, will be continued, but by whom has not yet been decided.
