SAD AFFAIR - Last week Tuesday, a young lady named Alice Eggleston, who resided with her parents, at Clayton, bled to death at McGregor, from the effects of having fourteen teeth extracted. She went from Clayton to McGregor Tuesday morning, and went to the office of Dentist J. A. Walter, who pulled her teeth. She bled profusely, and Dr. W. A. Hall was called, but he was unable to stop the bleeding, and she died at the Helberg House about nine o'clock Tuesday evening. Coroner Cain was summoned to McGregor, Wednesday morning, and held an inquest, which resulted in the exoneration of the dentist and doctor from any blame in the matter.
