Nehser, Geo. died 1884

Elkader Register, 27 Aug. 1884.

On Thursday last occurred the death, at his residence near Communia, of Geo. Nehser, of paralysis, aged about 77 years. He had been ailing for some time, but his death was nevertheless very sudden and unexpected. Mr. N., was a native of Germany, but settled near Communia about 32 years ago, and has by his industrious habits acquired quite a competence. His wife died about 6 years ago, and their only son about 8 years ago. The son died suddenly like the father, of paralysis, being found dead in the barn one Sunday evening. Mr. N., was buried in the cemetery at Communia, on Saturday last. May he rest in peace.
