Elkader Register, Fri., 18 Apr. 1884. Bear Creek column.

Hartley Elliot, of Lodomillo, who went to Clay County, this state, about a year ago, died out there on Thursday, the 10th inst. His remains were brought to this county for interment, the funeral occurring on Sunday. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss.

Died Lake twp., Wright co. IA; on 4/3/1884,cause = diabetes (Return of deaths, Wright co. IA; pg 577)
