Elkader Register, Thur., 23 Dec. 1880.

Mrs. B. H. Olmsted who resided near Monona, died on the 7th inst., at the advanced age of 72 year. She was one of the early settlers of Clayton County, and there are many who will learn of her departure for a fairer land with regret. To write of her kindly acts and charities would require much more space than we can command. May she rest in peace.
