Elkader Register, Thur., 23 Dec. 1880. McGregor column.

Mrs. Catharine Keeting, of North McGregor, died on the 9th; aged 53 years.

DIED - In North McGregor, December 9th, '80, Mrs. Catherine Keating, aged 53 years.

Deceased had suffered from a long sickness, yet she bore up with a Christian fortiude that was truly remarkable. A kind, noble-hearted woman; an indulgent parent, whose life was consistent with her Christian belief.

She was the mother of ten children, five of whom are living and grown up. She was a devoted member of the Catholic church.

The family desire to return thanks to the friends and neighbors who so kindly administered to her every want and were unremitting in their attentions to the mother during her long sickness.
