On Tuesday, July 6th, the people of this vicinity were startled by hearing of the death of Albert Peck, son of Douglass Peck, who died from taking cold caused by wading in the water a few days previous to his death. He was eighteen years old, and beloved and respected by all who knew him. His friends have our heartfelt sympathies in their bereavement.
